BARK RIVER -Who’s ready to rumble?

The 2024 iteration of the Island Resort and casino Off-Road Rumble in the U.P. begins today at Bark River International Raceway. Here’s what to expect for all three days of racing.

Friday’s schedule

Practice/qualifying rounds for the pro series divisions begins at 10 a.m. with the Pro Buggy division. Pro Spec (10:10 a.m.), Pro Stock SXS (10:20 a.m.), Pro Lite (10:30 a.m.), AMSOIL Pro SXS (10:40 a.m.), Pro2 (10:50 a.m.) and Pro4 (11 a.m.) will also have practice/qualifying rounds Friday morning.

Sportsman division racers will have their first crack at the track in the afternoon, Sportsman SXS racing starts at noon, followed by Stock Truck (12:25 p.m.), MOD Kart (12:50 p.m.), 1600 Light Buggy (1:15 p.m.), Youth SXS (1:40 p.m.), Short Course Karts (2 p.m.), 170/200 SXS (2:25 p.m.), 1600 Single Buggy (2:45 p.m.), Super Stock Truck (3:10 p.m.), 570 SXS (3:35 p.m.) and Pro AM SXS (3:55 p.m.) will compete on Friday.

The pro series divisions will immediately follow. Pro Buggy division starts at 4:30 p.m., followed by Pro Spec (4:50 p.m.), Pro Stock SXS (5:10 p.m.), Pro Lite (5:30 p.m.), AMSOIL Pro SXS (5:50 p.m.), Pro2 (6:10 p.m.) and Pro4 (6:35 p.m.).

The evening will be capped off with a live music performance from Doozy, slated for 8 p.m..

Saturday’s schedule

Opening ceremonies for Sportsman action begin at 9:45 a.m., followed by Sportsman SXS action starting at 9:50 a.m..

Stock Truck (10:20 a.m.), MOD Kart (10:50 a.m.), 1600 Light Buggy (11:20 a.m.), Youth SXS (11:50 a.m.),Short Course Carts (12:10 p.m.), 170/200 SXS (12:35 p.m.), 1600 Single Buggy (1 p.m.), Super Stock Truck (1:25 p.m.),570 SXS (1:55 p.m.) and Pro AM SXS (2:20 p.m.) will all compete on Saturday.

Opening ceremonies for the Pro series divisions begin at 3:30 p.m.

Pro Buggy (3:45 p.m.), Pro Spec (4:15 p.m.), Pro Stock SXS (4:45 p.m.), Pro Lite (5:15 p.m.), AMSOIL Pro SXS (5:45 p.m.), Pro2 (6:15 p.m.) and Pro4 (6:45 p.m.) classes will all be in action.

Saturday night will be capped off with a live musical performance from Sore On Sunday at 8 p.m.

Sunday’s schedule

This year’s three-day extravaganza begins with Sportsman opening ceremonies at 8:45 a.m.

Sportsman SXS (8:50 a.m.), Stock Truck (9:20 a.m.), MOD Kart (9:50 a.m.), 1600 Light Buggy (10:20 a.m.), Youth SXS (10:50 a.m.),Short Course Carts (11:10 p.m.), 170/200 SXS (11:35 p.m.), 1600 Single Buggy (noon), Super Stock Truck (12:25 p.m.),570 SXS (12:55 p.m.) and Pro AM SXS (1:20 p.m.) will all compete on Sunday.

Pro Series opening ceremonies begin at 2:30 p.m. Pro Buggy (2:45 p.m.), Pro Spec (3:15 p.m.), Pro Stock SXS (3:45 p.m.), Pro Lite (4:15 p.m.), AMSOIL Pro SXS (4:45 p.m.), Pro2 (5:15 p.m.) and Pro4 (5:45 p.m.) classes will close the weekend’s action.
