CALUMET — The Gladstone bowlers opened their season by dropping a 37-3 decision to Marquette here Saturday.
Matt Meyer, the Braves’ lone returner, rolled a 460 series.
The Braves’ X-team also lost to Marquette 25 1/2-14 1/2.
Gladstone’s Jayden Hoholik hit a personal-best 142 game.
