PORT HURON — Cold shooting and turnovers folied the Bay College men here Friday night in a 99-62 basketball loss to St. Clair County Community College.

Bay (5-4) hit just 23-of-63 field goals and 10-of-22 free throws and had 22 miscues. They trailed 44-31 at halftime.

St. Clair (6-2) scored four in double digits, including Jalen Miller, who hit 14 points. Riley Bugg and DJuan Taylor added 13 each and Emmanuel Ndambi had 10.

The downstate hosts held a 51-35 rebounding advantage, sank 32-of-80 shots and committed 13 turnovers.

Matt Wagner led Bay with 10 points. Ryan Robinette had nine.

The Norse meet Mid-Michigan Community College today at 1 in Port Huron.
