FELCH — In MHSAA Division 4 girls volleyball District 99 first round action, the North Dickinson Nordics swept the Hannahville Soaring Eagles 3-0 (25-8, 25-9, 25-8) Monday night inside the Carl F. Lemin Jr. Gymnasium.

The Nordics advanced to the semifinal round and will visit Stephenson Wednesday at 7 pm EST. The winner will host the district final Thursday at 7.

“We came out strong tonight and we served well. Our serving needs some work, which I feel if we clean it up we can go a ways in our district,” said ND head coach Sandy Haustein. “I was able to play the jayvee players I brought up for the tournament tonight. I was glad to get them some floor time.”
