GLADSTONE — Five new members and two new teams will be inducted into the Gladstone High School Sports Hall of Fame Oct. 12 at the Gladstone Terrace Lake Bluff.

The banquet begins at 5 p.m. with a social hour, followed by a welcome announcement at 6, the invocation and dinner at 6:15 and the induction ceremony at 7:30.

There will also be a “Meet and Greet” for all new and past inductees and their family and friends Oct. 11 at the Gladstone Yacht Club from 3:30 to 7:30.

Among the athletes being inducted are Renee (Carlson) Scoville, Holly (Bruntjens) Holstrom and Joe Mileski.

The Class of 2019 coach is the late Matt Houle, The Class of 2019 community contributor is Bob Hewitt, and The Class of 2019 teams are the 2009 state champion softball team and the 1960 golf team.
