ESCANABA — Don Raymond recorded his first-ever hole-in-one at Escanaba Country Club Thursday, using his 5-iron on the 168-yard, par 3 No. 13 hole.

Jake Berlinski also recorded his first-ever albatross on No. 16, knocking it in from 220 yards.

Ahlgren shoots ace

GLADSTONE — Jordan Ahlgren shot his first career hole-in-one at Gladstone Golf Club Wednesday, using a 56-degree wedge on the 109-yard, par 3 No. 17 hole.

Irish Oaks men

GLADSTONE — Derrick Stenson shot a 35 to lead the Irish Oaks Men’s League Wednesday. He was followed by Dave Howes and Mark Weber 37, Mike Barnes, Scott Kwarciany, Josh Mileski and Jason Micheau 38, and Wayne Arts and Matt Smith Jr. 39.

ESCANABA — Barb Scott shot a 40 to lead the Escanaba Country Club Women’s League Thursday. She was followed by Mary Bergman 43, Laura Clifford 44, Ann-Marie Porath and Alyssa Guindon 45, Connie Kangas, Meghan Casey and Jessica Bray 46, Crissy Strom and Paula Gustafson 47, and Caren Crawford, Sharon Nelson, Tina Ramos, Sue Clifton and Karen Kelly 49.

HYDE — Marilyn Cossette shot a 40 to lead the Highland Women’s League Wednesday. She was followed by Rachael Latta 41, Anna Larson, Nicky Hosking and Lori Johnson 43, Denise Porath 45, Theresa Klein, Sue Pifke and Carol Terres 46 and Judy Lippens 49.
