Junior golf results

GLADSTONE — The Delta County Junior Golf Association held its first tournament Tuesday at Irish Oaks. Listed below are the results of each division:

Girls 9-10: 1st — Sarah Carter and Sophie Hill 52; 3rd — Caragon Thill 64

Girls 13-14: 1st — Ondraya Karaja and Morgan Maki 70; 3rd — Zowie Bozzo 76

Girls 15-18: 1st — Abby Hill 50

Boys 9-10: 1st — Griffin Johnson 41; 2nd — Jack McCarthy, Alex Prins and Christian VanDamme 49

Boys 11-12: 1st — Carson Artley and Graham Johnson 37; 3rd — Owen Gereau 40

Boys 13-14: 1st — Shane Wallin and Bryson Lancour 41; 3rd — Owen Lancour 43

Boys 15-18: 1st — Travis Johnson 41; 2nd — Wlliam Olsick 82

ECC men

ESCANABA — Brian Robinette shot a 34 to lead the Escanaba Country Club Men’s 9-hole League Wednesday. He was followed by Tyler Delvaux, Dave Harris and Jeff McCall 36, Jake Wiles 37, Jude Vandamme, Steve Scott, Jeff Rae, Chris Sauve, Randy Eis and Kurt Schwalbach 38, and Jordan Lemire and Mike Beveridge 39.

Robinette also led the 18-hole league with a 66. He was followed by Harris 70, Rae, Sauve and Eis 76, Lemire, Scott and Schwalbach 77, and McCall 78.

Irish Oaks women

GLADSTONE — Pat DeGrave and Karen McCorkle each shot a 41 at the Irish Oaks Women’s League Tuesday. They were followed by Holly Canull, Jamie Pond and Kirsten Vandeville 43, Pattie Kivioja 44, Robin Schwartz 45, Mary Bergman 46, Daina Norden 48, and Liz Englund, Amanda Norkoli and Rosie Spindler 49.

Gladstone women

GLADSTONE — Lori Shea shot a 42 to lead the Gladstone Women’s League Tuesday. She was followed by Jami Pond, Mary Bergman and Karen McCorkle 44, Cheryl Dykes 46, Wendy Bratonia, Mary Kallio and Rosie Spindler 47, Sharon Nelson, Patty Valiquette and Holly Canull 48, and Morgan Whitehead 49.

Highland scramble

HYDE — Registration is still open for the Highland Golf Club 3-woman scramble Wednesday, July 10. The scramble begins with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. EDT.

Entry fee is $195 per team and includes breakfast, dinner, prizes and three mulligans. Dinner will feature Gretchen’s famous BBQ ribs. Skins are available for $15 per team and carts are available for $25. Entry deadline is today.
