EBEN JUNCTION — The Superior Central boys’ basketball team will be helmed by a new coach in the upcoming season.

According to a press release by district superintendent Bill Valima, Branson Richard is stepping down from his position as boys’ basketball varsity head coach.

Richard was instituted as the head coach in 2017 and finished his two-year tenure with a 16-27 record. He declined to respond to a text message to comment on his resignation.

Current jayvee coach Harry Robbins will step in to take over the varsity team.
