Games cancelled

GLADSTONE — Escanaba’s softball doubleheader at Gladstone, originally scheduled for Friday, was postponed due to Gladstone going to Beaverton for a weekend tournament.

Esky and Gladstone are scheduled to play twice this year.

Gladstone Golf Club

GLADSTONE — There is a Gladstone Golf Senior Men’s League meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at the Gladstone Golf Club.

There is also an afternoon men’s league meeting at 6 p.m. For more information, contact golf course manager Mary Kallio (906-428-9646).

Basketball tourney

CARNEY — Carney-Nadeau is hosting a 4-on-4 basketball tournament for kids grades’ 3-12 May 11.

Rosters are limited to five players and and teams will be divided into grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. There are separate divisions for boys and girls.

Entry fee is $70 per team and the deadline to sign up is May 4.

Checks should be made payable to the Carney-Nadeau Basketball Program. T-shirts will be awarded to the first place team and medals will be awarded to second and third-place teams.
