MARQUETTE — The Ishpeming boys and Marquette girls flip-flopped finishes Friday in the Marquette Relays cross country meet at Presque Isle Park.

Ishpeming beat the Marquette boys 10-20 to win that division, while Marquette’s girls beat Isheming 10-30 to win that division.

Gladstone’s boys and girls both finished third, with 25 and 36 points, respectively.

Spencer Giroux-Jonas Broberg of Ishpeming teamed to win the boys race in 31 minutes, 52 seconds. Jake Strassler and Adam Bruce of Gladstone were second in 31:55.

Giovanni Mathews-Dylan Krause were eight for Gladstone in 35:30.

Emily Paupore and Talon Prusi of Negaunee won the girls race in 38:09. Jamisyn Bergeron-Chloe Charlevoix of Gladstone were eighth in 43:47.

Runners alternated running mile-long legs until each runner had three miles in for six miles total for each pair.
