PLANO, Ill. - Raymond Joseph Boudreau Jr., 56, of Plano, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Raymond was born Sept. 5, 1957, in Escanaba, a son of Raymond and Catherine ("Joanne" Mercier) Boudreau. He graduated from Escanaba High School and attended Bay de Noc Community College. He moved to Plano in the early 1980s where he completed a commercial painting apprenticeship.
He was employed for most of his career with LeCuyer Painting and with ComPro Painting as a member of Painting District Council for Local 448.

Raymond had a passion for hunting, fishing, and working on cars or anything else that needed to be fixed. He enjoyed taking his dog "Wolf" for walks. He loved to visit family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Above all, he loved his children and family "bigger than the universe."
Survivors include his children, Ashley Boudreau, Jared Boudreau, and Niki Niemann, all of Plano; brothers and sisters, Dennis (Shirley) Boudreau of Rock, Katherine "Dee" (Tom) LeCuyer of Plano, and Karen (Ken) Tryan, Mark T. Boudreau, and Debra (David) Rose, all of Escanaba.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David Boudreau; and his niece, Lisa VanLaanen Green.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Nelson Funeral Homes in Plano with a prayer. Burial and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Escanaba. Memorials for Raymond may be directed to his children.
