IRON MOUNTAIN (AP) - Police have released the identity of a man who died in a house fire in Iron Mountain.

Iron Mountain police got a call before dawn Wednesday and found smoke pouring from a house.

Inside the building, authorities say firefighters found the body of 66-year-old resident Robert L. Davis.

An autopsy says he died of smoke inhalation. The Michigan State Police fire marshal's office is assisting the investigation, and authorities didn't immediately announce a cause of the fire.
