Lifeline: School hosts blood drive

January 16, 2013
Daily Press
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile visited the North Central Area High School Monday afternoon, hosted by the school’s student council. Above, Red Cross collections phlebotomist Gail Peterson, left, removes the needle from the arm of NCA senior William Martin, 19, after his donation. Thirty-one pints of blood donated during the North Central Area High School blood drive equals a $250
scholarship awarded to the school for use by a graduating senior. The next drive will take place at the high school gym April 22. (Daily Press photo by Holly Richer)
