Bill Huebler of the Bay Shore Kiwanis Club is shown here presenting a check for $1,450 to Marcia Short, organizer of the U.P. Honor Flight. The members of the Bay Shore Kiwanis Club sold brats and hot dogs at Elmer's County Market to raise the funds along with several hundred dollars raised by Billy the Clown, also a Kiwanis member, and donations received at the sale. Huebler said, "We feel incredibly fortunate to help with this project to honor our World War II heros and we sincerely thank the citizens and Elmer's who made it possible."
