Michael Louis Racicot

WILSON - Michael Louis Racicot, 53, W565 Ridge Park, Wilson, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.

He was born on Dec. 1, 1958, in Escanaba, son of Harold R. and Regina M (Norz) Racicot. Michael graduated from Bark River High School in 1977.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Michael worked various jobs throughout his life including Bay Ship Building, cable construction, EMP, and woods work.

He enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, hunting, reading, and was an avid fan of NASCAR, Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Michael was Catholic by faith.

Among survivors include his mother, Regina Racicot of Escanaba; two brothers, Joe (Kris) and Don (Michelle) of Escanaba; two sisters, Rose Marie "Murph" (Paul) VanEnkevort of Bark River and Rose Ann "Annie" (John) Garon of Peshtigo, Wis.; four nephews and three nieces.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Dec. 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba. The memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Mike LeBeau officiating.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Racicot family with arrangements.
