2 allegedly hold service station owner at gunpoint

PALMER - Two men allegedly held a business owner at gunpoint then fled from the service station they broke into Sunday night in Marquette County. Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the two suspects.

The owner of Fran's Service Station in Palmer was returning home when he came upon two males exiting a rear basement window of the business at around 10:40 p.m., according to the Marquette County Sheriff Department.

They allegedly held the owner at gunpoint briefly then fled on foot into a wooded area behind the store, officials stated in a news release. The victim was not injured in the incident.

The suspects are described as two young adult males wearing dark hoodies. Anyone with information that could help identify the suspects or aid in the investigation is asked to contact the sheriff's department at (906) 225-8435.
