McBroom says no fraud

EDITOR:

Kudos to Senator Ed McBroom! While many politicians are refusing to denounce the lie that the election was stolen, I am grateful to Sen. McBroom for having the integrity to set the record straight. As reported in the June 18, 2021 Houghton Mining Gazette and Bridge Magazine, Sen McBroom headed a Senate investigation looking into the allegations of fraud in the November 2020 election. That investigation is now completed and published. This is what they found.

1. Deceased and non-residents voting: They found 2. One was a clerical error and one woman had cast her absentee ballot and then died prior to Nov. 6. McBroom credited Secretary of State Benson for removing 3,500 absentee ballots of folks who legally voted absentee but died prior to election day.

2. Unsolicited absentee ballots mass mailing: Again, they found 2 people who had forgotten they had previously requested absentee ballots. Many people equated receiving absentee ballot applications as absentee ballots.

3. Rights and duties of poll challengers restricted: Found no evidence fraudulent activities were undertaken.

4. Antrim County: There were initially a series of errors that were corrected. A complete hand recount validated the original official results as accurate. “…the committee recommends the attorney general consider investigating those promoting Antrim County to raise money or publicity for their own ends”.

5. Cyber attacks (including theories promoted in Mr Lindell’s “Absolute Proof” video): “However, this narrative is ignorant of multiple levels of the actual election process.” Sen. McBroom spoke with several county clerks and the committee finds Mr Lindell’s numbers “beyond any statistical or reasonable credulity”.

6. Absentee ballots counted multiple times: This is not possible.

7. Jurisdictions reporting more than 100% voter turnout. Not one county had over 100% turnout or even close to 100%.

8. Thousands of ballots “dumped” at TCF Center: No proof. Ballots that were placed in drop boxes, clerk offices, etc. were delivered to TCF.

9. Vote totals were abnormal: Comparing historical data, no number of votes cast solely for the President were abnormal.

10. Ballot harvesting: testimony and allegations were made but no evidence was presented.

11. Illegal votes: reports and allegations “strain credulity and are simply preposterous”
