Enforce and obey the speed limit

EDITOR:

On or about 6:45 a.m. a State Police vehicle was heading south on 29th Street in Gladstone and was actually going the speed limit 25 mph (residential area).

Our city police, school buses, and city workers don’t even obey the basic speed law when traveling on 29th Street. They all speed. Ninety percent of all vehicles using 29th Street in Gladstone go too fast in the residential area (some as fast as 50 mph or more).

Call police, nothing done, call school, nothing done, go to city hall and complain, nothing done. Why do we pay our police when they won’t even enforce the basic speed limit law?

In residential area 25 mph might seem slow (because it is slow) think about it.
