Mary Ann Martin
ESCANABA — The family and friends of Mary Ann Martin announce her passing on November 23, 2025. She entered this world on July 12, 1949 and made a better place. She was a beloved daughter sister, mother, aunt, friend.
She was a friend to all — anyone who met her loved her and instantly became her friend. She would tell them her life story in such a way that they hung on every word. She loved people and always put others first before herself. If someone complimented something she had, she gave it to them!
She loved music and art, shopping, and her girlfriends. She loved to travel to Europe, especially with her mother and sisters. Cruising was another one of her favorite things. She was always ready for a trip to the Casino. It was her “happy place”.
Mary Ann grew up in Escanaba, Michigan and moved back to live amongst her childhood friends for the last nine years of her life. Before that time, she lived in California and Texas.
We now have a Special Angel to watch over us.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
