Glenda Lou Burnham

Glenda was born December 30, 1944 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Loyd and Avona (Alexander) Wade. She graduated from South Lyon High School in 1962. She married the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Burnham on August 20, 1965. She worked at Whittaker and Gooding Trucking (formerly Hamlin & McCain Trucking) for 40 years and also sold real estate for over 20 years. Glenda loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren. She had many talents, including pottery, sewing, and knitting. She was an exceptional cook and baker and loved to cook Sunday dinners for the family. She also had a great love for her German Shepherds.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Jerry, her children, Stephanie (Brian) Moriarty, Robert (Jennifer) Burnham; grandchildren, Zachary (Christine) Moriarty, Madison (Bryce) Carter , Jonathan, Abigail, and Annabel Burnham; great grandchild, Gardner Carter; siblings, Mike (Kelly) Wade and Sandra Meneses and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Deloris Somers.

Celebration of Life Services are being planned for a later date.
