GLADSTONE — Lynn A. Spalla, age 75, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Lynn was born on July 11, 1950 in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Donald R. And Phyllis J. (Darion) Boucher. She graduated from Holy Name Central High School in the class of 1968 and continued her education earning a Bachelors Degree in medical technology with honors from Northern Michigan University in 1972 and later graduating from University of Michigan, Dearborn with a Professional Development degree in management. Lynn was united in marriage to Gregory Paul Spalla on September 27, 1980 in Detroit. Together they shared many wonderful years until his passing on September 5, 1993.

Lynn worked for 26 years as a medical technologist at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. She later worked for Thomson Reuters in Ann Arbor as an installation database associate. She retired in 2011 and relocated to Gladstone. Lynn enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul client services in Escanaba and she was a devoted parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She liked to spend her time sewing, quilting, and working puzzles.

Lynn is survived by her brothers Daniel (girlfriend Cindy LaBelle) Boucher, Timothy (Carole) Boucher, and Douglas (Kris) Boucher; sisters Debra (David) Wiltzius and Rebecca (Scott) Thomas; nieces and nephews Daniel, Dana, Ricky, Don, Joe, Kelly, Bill, Kaleigh, Sam, and Danielle; as well as great nieces and nephews Emma, Sydney, Hailey, Faith, Evelyn, Noah, Zoey, Zachary, Maci, William, Charlotte, and Felix.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gregory Spalla; brother Donald James Boucher; parents-in-law Peter and Marie Spalla.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Mass of Christian Burial honoring Lynn will begin at 12 noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Rick Courier officiating. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall.
