Mary Grace Lundgaard Schmidt
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Mary Grace Lundgaard Schmidt (96 years) born in Escanaba passed away 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She grew up in Cornell where her family had a General Store. She married Edward M. Schmidt of Escanaba 1945 and they moved with the Navy for 21 years and settled in Indianapolis.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Karen Lynn Schmidt Wilson of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Tonya Grace Wilson; great-grandchildren, Michael, Jackie and Joseph Okuniewicz of Rochester Hills, Michigan area.
She and her husband’s remains will be interred at Garden of Rest Cemetery where many of their family members rest.
