Caren ‘Tiny’ Sundberg
DAGGETT — Caren “Tiny” Sundberg, 73 of Daggett, Mich., passed away on Monday January 18, 2021 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, Wis., following a short illness. The former Caren Lynch was born on August 13, 1947 in Daggett, Mich., to Claude and Helen (Phillips) Lynch. Caren worked in the accounting departments at Clare Bedding, Kobasic Furniture and retired from Superior Cedar Products. Caren was currently serving as Holmes Township Treasurer as she had for many years. Caren enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, reading, music and dancing. She loved spending time and riding motorcycle with Don. In her younger years, Caren loved playing softball and was the best 3rd baseman around.
Survivors include her significant other, Donald Kakuk of Daggett, Mich.; daughter, Cari Sundberg of Green Bay, Wis.; son, Scott (Jaime) Sundberg of Daggett, Mich.; three grandchildren, Journey, Shelby and Dodge Sundberg; three sisters, Mary Johnson of Daggett, Mich., twin sister, . Carol (Bruce) Cullum of Wilmington, NC. and Claudia (Jim) Gronmark of Carney, Mich.; brother, Thomas (Marty) Lynch of Flintville, Tenn.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Caren was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Nault.
Private family services will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in Stephenson Township Cemetery in the spring.
