Glen Edward Cutcher

ESCANABA — Glen Edward Cutcher, 69, went to be with his heavenly father 10-14-2020 following a brief illness. Glen was born Jan. 31, 1951 in Sandusky, Ohio, The family later moved to Escanaba. Glen was the son of Glen Edward (Vera Hasko) Cutcher Sr. He graduated Escanaba High School class of 1969. He Then attended Bay College, earning his associates degree in machine, drafting and design in 1971. He continued his studies at Western Michigan University for a year. Glen worked at Harnsheger as a machinist until its closing. He Then opened Hawkeye Archery and Manufacturing in Escanaba with his brother Steve.

Glen married Roshelle (Shelly)Stever in December 1973 Together they had two sons, Christopher (Kristin) Cutcher of Escanaba and Craig (Jessie) of Green Bay, Wis. He has six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He later married Betty (Seipel) in 2010. Glen was an avid bowler and archer where he competed and he won many trophies and competitions. Glen also loved to spend time with his many friends and special friends Dale Dupey and Wayne Leech Jsr.

He was a longtime member of U.P whitetails and the P&H rod and gun club.

He is survived by his sons, six grandchildren and one great-grandson, along with his extended family and one brother, Steve (Barb)Cutcher of Florida, and one sister, Anetta (Rodney) Thomma of Escanaba and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A

Celebration of Life and religious services will be held October 22 at Roberts Funeral home at 2 p.m. In Ashland, Wis.

There will also be a Celebration of Life held in Escanaba at a later date.
