Robert L. Anderson
JANEVILLE, Wis. — Robert L. Anderson, 81, of Janesville, Wis., died Jan. 7, 2020, at the Rock Haven Nursing Home in Janesville, Wis.
Robert was born Sept. 1, 1938, in Nahma, Mich, son of Alfred and Agnes (Sabourin) Anderson.
In 1943, his family moved to Escanaba. He attended St. Joseph School and graduated from Holy Name High School in 1957. While at Holy Name, he was known as “Andy” by all his friends.
He worked for Harnischfeger and retired from Textron Automotive in Indiana before moving to Wisconsin.
Robert is survived by his friend of 28 years, Doreen Nickerson; a daughter, Natalie (Anderson) Tardiff; sons, Mark and Craig Anderson of Indiana.; and five grandchildren and great- grandchildren; a sister, Lucy (Virgel) Thomma of Soo Hill.
Preceding him in death were his parents and the mother of his children, the former Donna Bryers of Escanaba.
