Marion M. Wendrick

She was born in Escanaba, Mich., on Oct. 25, 1933, daughter of Walter J. and Sarah B. (Cosper) Kasbohm. Marion attended Escanaba school where she has been a lifelong resident. She worked as a steam press operator with Fisher Cleaners until her retirement in 1988.

Marion was a loving mother who cherished raising and taking care of her six sons. She enjoyed camping, reading, word search puzzles and playing bingo.

Survivors include her children, Patrick (Debra) of Escanaba, Jeffrey of Escanaba, John (Jean) of Escanaba, Anthony (Lynn) of Green Bay and Gerald (Julie) Wendrick of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Wendrick of Gladstone; sister, Jean (John) Zavanda; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Marion is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sarah Kasbohm; son, Russell “Rusty” Wendrick; brothers, Henry, Clyde and Marvin Kasbohm; and sisters, Bernice (Jack) Bourdeau and Loretta (Carlton) Morrow.

Private services will be held at the convince of the family.

Burial will take place in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery.
