Mark Lawrence Tatrow

DETROIT — Mark Lawrence Tatrow, 59, of Garden, Mich., passed away on Dec. 1, 2019, at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich..

He was born April 7, 1960, to Lawrence and Marjorie (Helgren) Tatrow in Negaunee, Mich. It was there he grew up and graduated from the Garden area schools. Upon graduating he began a career in the operating engineers and went on to operate an excavating company with his father.

Mark always enjoyed spending his time outside enjoying nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved taking his side by side on trips down the trails and back roads. His family meant the most to him and he always valued the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his father, Lawrence “Stub” Tatrow of Manistique; son, Travis Tatrow of Garden; daughter, Stacy (Mark) Miller of Garden; grandchildren, Cameron and Cali; and two very close cousins, Charlie and Bruce Tatrow.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Tatrow.

Visitation will be held at Fausett Family Funeral Home in Garden, Mich., on Thursday, Dec. 12, from 12 – 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with Leo Bodette officiating. A burial of ashes will take place at New Garden Cemetery in the spring.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family for future designation.
