Mildred ‘Midge’ Bizeau
GLADSTONE — Mildred “Midge” Bizeau, 88, of Gladstone passed away peacefully on Oct. 8, 2019, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility.
Mildred was born on April 18, 1931, in, Niagara, Wis., the daughter of George and Madeline (McKnight) Moreau. She spent most of her life in Gladstone, and met her late husband, Thomas Bizeau, there. They were married in 1947 and together they shared 60 years of memories. Mildred worked as a senior aide in central supply for St. Francis Hospital for 28 years. She retired in 1995. Her true passion was her family. Mildred came from a family of eight children, and learned the true sense of family all throughout her life. She also was a dedicated parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone.
Mildred was a devoted mother, sister, and wife and will be missed dearly by many.
Mildred is survived by: two sons, Al Bizeau and John (Judy) Bizeau; one daughter, Linda (Jude) Martin; one sister-in-law, Lorraine (Thomas) Moreau; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her late husband, Thomas Bizeau, Mildred was preceded in death by: her parents, George and Madeline (McKnight) Moreau; four brothers, Glen Moreau, Howard Moreau, David Moreau, and Thomas Moreau; three sisters, Mabel Moreau, Shirley Schaffer, and Josie Balenger.
Family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 18, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
A Memorial Mass will follow visiting hours at 1 p.m. at the All Saints Church of Gladstone with Father Jame Ziminski officiating. A coffee social will follow in the church hall. Mildred will be laid to rest in Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Bizeau family.
