William George Morrison

NORWAY — William George Morrison age 57 of Norway, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born April 25, 1962 in Wyandotte, Mich., the son of the late Orval and Rosemary (Beauparland) Morrison.

Bill married Kathleen Meunier on Aug. 31, 1985 in Escanaba.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Norway and church choir director for many years.

Bill was a very helpful person and loved music. He owned and operated Music in Motion, playing at numerous weddings and parties.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kathleen; daughters, Alicia Erickson and Cassie Morrison; former son-in-law, AJ Erickson; granddaughter, Kiara Erickson; brothers, Matthew (Denise) Morrison, John (Brenda) Morrison, Tony (Tammy) Morrison, and Paul (Mary) Morrison; sisters, Kathi (Ed) Usimaki and Susette Sebeck; brother-in-law, Tom (Paula) Meunier; sisters-in-law, Linda (Tom) Barron and Alma Morrison; many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother Tom Morrison and brother-in-law Larry Sebeck.

Family will greet friends on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 10 to 11 a.m. CST at St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. CST at St. Barbara’s Church with Fr. Timothy Ekaitis, officiating.
