BRAMPTON — Sandra Goudreau, age 80, of Brampton passed away peacefully at her home on July 5, 2019.

Sandra was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wis. the daughter of Arthur and Antoinette (Berce) Danielczyk.

Sandra graduated from Divine Savior High School of Milwaukee in 1956.

On May 26, 1961 she married Joseph Edward Goudreau.

With a rich understanding of language and numerics, Sandra’s career as a loan specialist at Farmers Home Administration lasted over 30 years.

A proud and devout member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Perkins, Sandra sang in the choir, taught catechism, read as a lecturer during Mass, was on the parish council, and volunteered on the finance committee.

Sandra had a deep love for animals, domestic and wild alike, though labrador retrievers seemed to be her favorite. This noteworthy passion continues within the family.

Sandra kept herself busy taking daily walks, reading abundantly, and swimming laps at the YMCA. She had a love for music and an affinity for writing. Always providing guidance, her constant nurturing and vast knowledge will be remembered.

Sandra is survived by two sons, Joe (Patti) Goudreau of Norway, Mich. and Dennis Goudreau of Rapid River; two daughters, Rene Stropich of North Pole, Alaska and Michele Ruohonen of Rapid River; four brothers, Michael Danielczyk of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Tony Danielczyk of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Art Danielczyk of Milwaukee, Wis., and Peter (Patricia) Danielczyk of Garland, Texas; two sisters, Ellen Radtke of Franksville, Wis. and Suzanne (Andre) Krausz of Sarasota, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Joey, Amanda, Ashley, Jamie, Rachel, Rikki, Jesse, and John Paul; five great-grandchildren, Aaron, Joey, Austin, Bella, and Andrew; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial for Sandra is scheduled for 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Perkins with Fr. Joseph Augustine officiating. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall and Sandra will be laid to rest in the St. Nicholas Cemetery.
