Carol Ann McDonnell
ESCANABA — Carol Ann McDonnell, 78, of Escanaba, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, surrounded by her family.
Carol was born June 26, 1940, in Escanaba, the daughter of Wilfred and Natalie (Trombley) Vachon. She graduated from Escanaba High School in 1958 and was a longtime member of the St. Joseph and St. Patrick Parish in Escanaba.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Chris (Ray) DePas of Wilson; granddaughters, Denna (Tom Madden) DePas and Devon (Tyler) Hanson; brother, Robert Vachon of El Cajon, Ca;if.; brother-in-law, Bill Doherty of Loves Park, Ill.; sister-in-law, Patricia Vachon of Manitowoc, Wis., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Michelle McDonnell, her sister, Dorothy Doherty and her brother, Bill Vachon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at the St. Joseph and St. Patrick Parish in Escanaba. Carol will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells.
The McDonnell family is being assisted by the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba.
