Shirley A. Motto

Shirley was born in Escanaba on June 15, 1938 daughter of Alphonse and Janice (Picard) Harris. She was raised and spent most of her life in the Perronville area.

On Nov. 22, 1962 Shirley married Bert Motto at St. Michael’s Church in Perronville. Together they raised four children.

She loved animals, especially cats.

Among survivors are her husband, Bert, of Wilson; children, Thomas Motto and James (Nancy Ann) Motto of Wilson, William (Brenda) Motto of Escanaba and Diane (Mark Sleeter) Motto of Gladstone; grandchildren, Sarah Motto, Travis Motto, and Devin Beauchamp; great-grandchild, Virgil Motto; siblings, Pat Harris, Beverly Pjassam and Nancy Lompre, all of Escanaba; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Gary and Betty.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
