Christine ‘Tina’ Lustick

Tina was born in Slovenia (former Yugoslavia) on Jan. 27, 1921, the daughter of Anton and Mary (Kosmrl) Gornick. At age 8, she immigrated to the United States, residing in Milwaukee with her parents. She was united in marriage on May 15, 1943 to Conrad Lustick. Together they raised their family in the Bay View location near Gladstone. Conrad preceded her in death in 1997.

Tina was an excellent gardener, seamstress, and a devoted grandmother to her only grandson, Marshall. Her wonderful cooking and baking skills included making many traditional Slovenian foods. She was always perfecting a recipe and creating her own. She enjoyed snowshoeing, walking, and especially enjoyed her cats.

Tina is survived by her son, John (Sharon Beauvais) Lustick; daughter, Donna (Marshall) Iraneta; grandson, Marshall (Jessica) Iraneta; daughter-in-law, Sara Lustick; and nieces, nephews, and cousins in the U.S. and Slovenia.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Tina is preceded in death by: son, Ronald, and infant brother, Anthony.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
