James ‘Jim’ L. Demeuse

LAKE GENEVA Wis. — James “Jim” L. Demeuse, 70, of Lake Geneva, Wis., was found in the Town of Geneva April 1, 2018, after being missing since Oct. 20, 2017. He was born April 12, 1947, in Escanaba, Mich., the son of the late Dona and Hilma (Saari) Demeuse. He was united in marriage to Judith L. Marciniak on July 9, 1966, in Escanaba, Mich. Jim served in the U.S. Army from Aug. 11, 1966, until Aug. 15, 1968. During Jim’s working career he worked for over 25 years with American National Can Company of Milwaukee, Wis., Riotinto and Worthington Industries of Chilton, Wis., retiring in 2012. Jim enjoyed playing golf, bowling and fishing. He really enjoyed his weekly trips to the casino. His greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Judi; his two children, Tammi Wrzesinski, Todd Demeuse, and son-in-law, Tim Wrzesinski, all of Lake Geneva, Wis.; four grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Demeuse, Cody and Hunter Wrzesinski; and three sisters, Janice (Jim) Zilke of Hot Springs, Ark., Cheryl Sanders Demeuse of Rhinelander, Wis., and Sharon (Ronald) Malenck of Eagle River, Wis., and by a host of other relatives and friends. Private family service was held at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn, Wis.
