Randy M. Ross

Randy was born on June 10, 1958 in Escanaba, son of Henry and Patricia (Lancour) Ross. He was raised in Gladstone but lived in Escanaba for most of his life, graduating from Escanaba High School. He resided in the Bark River area for the past three years.

He worked at Heynssens Selin’s and also as an assistant wine maker at Leigh’s Winery.

Randy enjoyed helping others, working on his hobby farm and working with honey bees. He loved gardening and doing carpentry work. Randy was known for his great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Tonya DeGrave-Ross of Bark River; children, Angela (Lee) Duroy of Marquette, Cory Ross of Gladstone, and Riley Ross of Escanaba; step children, Courtney Stamper of Quinessec and Dawson Stamper of Kingsford; grandchildren, Mia DuRoy, Lucas DuRoy, Lidia DuRoy and Henry Ross; siblings, Russell (Mary) Ross Jr. of Escanaba, Daniel (Ardith) Ross of Escanaba, Donna (James Jr.) Dubord of Wetmore, Debra (Mark) Hackleman of Gladstone, Jeri (Wayne) Juhl of Escanaba and Thomas (Peg) Ross of Skandia; mother- and father-in-law, Roxanne Doda of Green Bay and Dean Francis of Iron Mountain; brothers in law, Travis DeGrave of St. Joseph, Mich. and Adam Francis of Iron Mountain; and aunt, Mary Logan of Texas.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Patricia; and sister, Robin Charlebois.

Funeral arrangements have been changed to private. They will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ross family.

Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Ross family.
