Mark was born on Dec. 18, 1956, in Norway, the son of Ramon and Nancy (Hewlett) Rossi. In 1965, the family moved to Escanaba, and Mark was a 1975 graduate of Escanaba High School. He worked for Mr. Tire, Gafner Machine, Valmet, Oldenburg Group, and most recently was a pipeline inspector in various areas of the country. He loved the Green Bay Packers, the Detroit Tigers, NASCAR, golf and going to camp, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #354 in Escanaba.

Mark is survived by two sons, Scott of Gladstone and Andrew (Eva) of Pulaski, Wis.; two granddaughters, Hannah and Haley; two sisters, Karen (Perry) Salmon of Gladstone and Suzanne Rossi of De Pere, Wis.; two brothers, Steve of South Lyon and Ken (Noreen) of Slinger, Wis.; nephews, Ryan (Andrea), Kyle, Tony, Bobby, Joe, Nathan and Cody; niece, Jennifer; and great-nephews, Ryder Rossi and Mason Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Nancy, and nephew, Josh Salmon.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at the Elks Lodge in Escanaba. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday with family remarks and the Elks’ memorial service. A time of fellowship at the Elks Lodge will follow the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Mark Rossi family.
