ESCANABA — A Munising man and an Escanaba woman were arrested on drug possession and delivery charges following the execution of a warrant early this morning.

Deputies with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at a hotel in Escanaba early Tuesday morning.

According to officers, a large amount of meth was located, along with prescription drugs.

A 48-year-old Munising man was arrested for possession with intent to deliver meth and possession of analogs.

A 29-year-old Escanaba woman was arrested for possession of meth and possession of analogs.

A vehicle and U.S. currency were also seized.

Deputies were assisted by Gladstone Public Safety Department, Escanaba Public Safety Department and the Delta County Prosecutor’s Office.
