ESCANABA — At approximately 8:42 p.m. Saturday, Escanaba Public Safety officers were dispatched to 3830 13.75 Road — also known as Old State Road — in Escanaba on a report of a structure fire.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a large shed that was fully engulfed with flames behind a detached garage. The fire spread quickly to the detached garage, which caught fire.

Firefighters conducted an exterior and interior attack on the blaze, and the fire was extinguished. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
