Peacemaker to perform at U.P. State Fair

ESCANABA — Michigan rock and roll band Peacemaker will perform at the U.P. State Fair on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Having recently opened for Foghat, this Tri-City band is dedicated to paying tribute to the classics. Peacemaker is made up of four veteran musicians and entertains with their spot-on rock covers of the late ’70s and early ’80s.

A Michigan radio personality describes Peacemaker as one of the best bands to see live, “tight musicianship, diverse set list and engaging stage presence.” Another gives credit to lead singer, Brian Carson, for his “powerful and wide vocal range that is untouchable.”

Grandstand entertainment is free with paid admission.
