Gladstone seeks marketing plan input

GLADSTONE — The City of Gladstone is seeking input from area residents and stakeholders as it continues to develop its North Shore marketing plan.

In following the work that was done in 2017 with the city and Michigan State University’s Sustainable Built Environment Initiative (SBEI,) earlier this year the Gladstone City Commission approved contracting with Place & Main Advisors, LLC for real estate redevelopment services. The team is now at a place where the housing desires of the community are imperative to help identify appropriate housing options for the North Shore’s redevelopment.

Participants in the survey do not need to be a resident of the city. “The goal and intent of the survey is to gain a clear understanding of the wants and needs of the area,” said Gladstone City Manager Darcy Long. “If there is a need for a type of housing that does not exist in the area, this could be the opportunity to see it come to fruition, I hope people will take the time to answer a few questions and provide us with valuable insight.”

The link to the survey can be found on the main page of the City of Gladstone’s website at www.gladstonemi.org. The survey is titled North Shore Housing Survey and listed under Recent News. It will remain open until Oct. 31.
