Rapid River Elementary third grader, Trenton Warner, gets a kiss from Delta Animal Shelter beagle “Tucker” during a visit from the shelter at the school last week. The elementary school students had the chance to talk to shelter personnel, learn about the different animals housed there, and had an opportunity to meet some of the pets at the shelter including a rat, hamster and a beagle.
