GLADSTONE — The Gladstone-Rapid River Kiwanis Club’s Christmas Tree of Honor and Remembrance will be lit at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7.
The tree is at the flagpole in front of the Gladstone Beach House, 1224 Lake Shore Drive.
The forms to purchase the lights for honor or remembrance are available at the Gladstone City Hall, the Gladstone Public Library and on the club website at gladstonekiwanis.weebly.com.
The form also can be accessed through the banner in front of the tree at the Beach House as well as on the front of Pat’s Foods IGA, 409 N. Ninth St. Both banners have a QR code that links to allow purchase.
The tree will remain lit until Jan. 5, and the list of names of those honored and remembered will be posted on the Kiwanis Club’s Facebook page, on Instagram and on the club website.
The Gladstone-Rapid River Kiwanis Club serves the youth of both communities in an effort to make their lives better and to provide a future in community service. The club meets at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at the First Lutheran Church, 1212 Minneapolis Ave., in Gladstone and welcomes anyone interested in community service.
