Escanaba Public Library presents jazz ensembles in concert

ESCANABA — Students from the Escanaba Junior/Senior High School Jazz Program, under the direction of teachers Laura Robinson and Robbie Miller, will be live in concert at the Escanaba Public Library on Monday, April 17 at 4:30 p.m. in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month.

Jazz Appreciation Month (also known as “JAM”) recognizes and celebrates the extraordinary heritage and history of jazz annually for the whole month of April. JAM is intended to encourage people of all ages to participate in jazz – to study the music, attend concerts, listen to jazz music, read books about jazz, and learn about one of the earliest and most iconic art forms in America.

For more information, visit the library’s website at www.escanabalibrary.org and click on the Calendar of Events. You can also follow the library on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or call at 906-789-7323.
