ESCANABA — The Delta County Historical Society will conduct its annual Christmas Bake Sale on Saturday, Dec. 14, in the multipurpose room of the DCHS Beaumier Museum and Archives building.

The museum is located on Sand Point, just east of the lighthouse.

Donations of baked goods and candy will be accepted beginning at 9 a.m. The sale opens to the public at 10 a.m. Donors and customers are invited to tour the museum without charge during sale hours. The sale ends at 2 p.m., or when sold out.

Ethnic specialties, such as Italian pizzelles and cornmeal cookies, Swedish butter cookies, Norwegian spritzes and Finnish joulutortu, as well as a variety of breads, preserves, cakes and candy will be offered.

Proceeds benefit the lighthouse, museum and archives.
