ESCANABA — Right to Life of Delta County will meet Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in room 961 of the Joseph Heirman University center at Bay College. The winners of the October Respect Life poster contest for grade school students will be presented their awards before the 7 p.m. meeting.

Plans will be made to mark the 47th anniversary, Jan. 22, 2020, of the Supreme Court’s decision, Roe V Wade, that legalized abortion. Plans include a special billboard, a full page signature ad in the Daily Press, a prayer service and the annual trip to Washington D.C. for the March for Life. A special Dec. 24 billboard, “Life the ultimate inalienable Right” with a ultra sound picture of a unborn baby in the womb is planned across from the U.P. State Fairgrounds.
