ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Nicklas Blake Wyckoff, 18, of 226 S. Lincoln Road, Escanaba, was bound over on one count of jails – possession of weapon, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $1,000. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Aug. 6, 2019 in Escanaba. The bond was set at 10 percent of $7,500 surety.

Daniel Paul Kurth, 49, of 3330 W. Maple Ave., Eunice, La., was bound over on two counts of perjury – inciting or procuring court proceeding, a five-year felony. The charges stem from an incident from March 25, 2019 to May 17, 2019 in Wells Township. The bond was set $45,000 cash/surety.

Scott Allen Wahl, 30, of 2011 15th Ave., Escanaba, was bound over on two cases of delivery/manufacture a controlled substance. In the first case, Wahl was bound over on one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – meth, a 20-year felony with a maximum fine of $25,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on March 14, 2019 in Delta County. The bond was set at $25,000 cash/surety.

In the second case, Wahl was bound over on one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 50 grams, a 20-year felony with a maximum fine of $25,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on March 28, 2019 in Delta County. The bond was set at $25,000 cash/surety.

Terry Lee Buckley, 65, of 7163 P Road, Gladstone, was bound over on one count of child abuse – second degree, a 10-year felony. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on April 19, 2019 in Escanaba Township. Buckley posted a 10 percent of $10,000 bond.

Joshua Chris Gaber, 43, of 1296 12th Road, Apt. 5, Bark River, was bound over on one count of criminal sexual conduct – third degree (force or coercion), a 15-year felony. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Aug. 11, 2019 in Wells Township. Gaber posted a10 percent of $4,000 bond.

Michael James Deau Jr., 33, of 1219 N. Lincoln Road, Escanaba, was bound over on two counts of sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 9, 2019 in Escanaba. Deau posted a 10 percent of $4,000 surety bond.

John Matt Clark, 53, of 325 S. 14th St., Lower, Escanaba, was bound over on one count of sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Sept. 6, 2019 in Escanaba. Clark posted a $500 bond.

Howard James Compo, 44, of 1343 U.S. 2 and 41, Bark River, was bound over on the following counts: two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; and one count of assault or assault and battery, a 93-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Oct. 12, 2019 in Escanaba. Compo posted a $250 bond.

Gina Marie Rider, 26, of homeless, Escanaba, was bound over on the following counts: two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; and one count of trespass, a 30-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $250. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Oct. 10, 2019 in Delta County. Rider posted a $2,500 cash/surety bond.
