Choral Society concert set for Dec. 1
ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Choral Society presents its annual Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 1, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba at 1:30 p.m. There is no cost, but a free will offering will be taken. The concert title is “Joy to the World” and the chorale is celebrating the 300th birthday of that Christmas carol. All are invited to hear a variety of Advent and Christmas music. Directed by Ann Wood and accompanied by John Ignatowski, the concert will include traditional favorites and other lively Christmas selections accompanied by flute, trumpet, hand bells, organ and more.
