Strom leaving Bay College Board
ESCANABA — The Bay College Board of Trustees announces the resignation of Philip L. Strom effective Aug. 30. Strom will leave the board after eight years of service to accept a position as deputy city attorney for the city of Grand Rapids.
The board will accept applications for Strom’s unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2020, through Sept. 4. Contact Laura Johnson, assistant board secretary, at 906-217-4022 for more information.
“Strom’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in law and public administration has been an invaluable asset as a trustee” Bay officials said in a press release.
