ESCANABA — The 2200 block of 5th Avenue South in Escanaba will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, Aug 5.

Work is being done includes water service replacements, curb, and sidewalk restoration prior to the scheduled re-surfacing of the roadway.

This work is expected to take two to three days, and the road closure will remain in place until the work is completed

No disruption to potable water service to adjacent costumers is expected.

Motorists should expect some delays and are asked to slow down near this work.
