Lunch on Ludington music series set

ESCANABA — The Lunch on Ludington free summer concert series continues at the Marketplace, 1501 Ludington St., in Escanaba with the duo of Awake For Birds on Aug. 7, Wingin’ It with Patrick Feldhusen and Michael Hall on Aug. 14, and closing out the series on Aug. 21 with Chicago’s Kraig Kenning playing Americana, blues, folk and more. The public is encouraged to pick up lunch from one of the local restaurants or delis, pack a lunch, or just come to listen to live music on a summer day. There are picnic tables and seating available and the playground will be open for children to enjoy as well.

The Farmer’s Market will open at 3 p.m. following the concert.

This series is sponsored by Blues for a Cause and the Escanaba DDA. If you would like to help with the cost of the series or would like to perform, call Wendy at 786-6420.
